THE MAGICAL FOREST

This is my first complex scene totally made in Blender program. I worked on the project from June to December 2023.
Working process
The work on the project started with finding a composition, blocking the scene and setting up the camera. This helped me to distribute forces correctly and move from the general to the particular.
The whole scene consists of 3 layers, their merging is done through Compositor. The process of project cleanup and effects overlaying took place in it. Each layer was worked out and optimized separately before rendering.

Own assemblages and procedural materials (grass, trees, flies, fence) were created.  Sculpting and retopology was applied to work on hare and skulls.
Geometric nodes were applied in the creation of stump and umbrella plants, hare's fur.

In the process of learning the features of the program I consolidated my previously acquired skills and acquired new ones: animation, rigging, geometric nodes and compositing. The most time and effort I spent on rigging and animation of a hare and chicken legs. I am satisfied with the result at the initial beginner stage, but there is something to strive for!
